The Government of India, along with the states and RLBs is implementing Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin). Setting up of an Integrated Municipal Solid Waste Management in Puducherry Region Rural areas as per SWM Rules 2016 on a long term under Design-Build-Operate-Transfer (DBOT) for a Concession period of 10 years.
