Yanam Municipality functioning under the aegis of The Local Administration Department, Government of Puducherry, “Integrated Mission for Sweeping, Segregation, Collection, Transportation and Disposal of MSW” in the municipal areas of Yanam, treatment of MSW in the processing facility called “Resource Recovery Park” (RRP) through Public Private Partnership (PPP) on Design, Built, Operate, Transfer (DBFOT) format for a Concession period of 15 years.
The Government of India, along with the states and RLBs is implementing Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin). Swatch Andhra Corporation (SAC) intends to select an agency for Municipal Solid Waste Management in ULBs in Andhra Pradesh State on DBOT Basis for a period of 20 years to support SAC towards its vision to promote segregation at source & defecation free waste management practice in ULBs. In line with SBM (Urban) vision, Government of Andhra Pradesh has launched the Swachha Andhra Mission with a goal of achieving clean and healthy sanitation practices by 2019 to provide Swachha Andhra Pradesh.
As a part of SBM Goals towards disposal of Municipal Solid Waste in modern & scientific methods, AP intends to take up Solid Waste Management projects as ‘Development of ISWM Projects in Andhra Pradesh on DBOT basis’ issued by Swachha Andhra Corporation, MA & UD Dept, Govt of Andhra Pradesh in the following Locations:
Compressed Biogas (CBG) Plant in association with Kakinada Smart City Corporation Limited (KSCCL). The proposed plant will have a daily production capacity of 7000 Cu. M Volume of Biogas and 80,000 ltr/day of Liquid and 10,000 Kg/day of Solid Organic Bio-Fertiliser respectively. The Unit proposed to be established under Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transport (SATAT) scheme launched by Government of India (GoI).
M/s HR SQUARE LLP has entered into tie-up agreement with M/s Vyzag Bio-Energy Fuel Pvt Ltd, (VBEFPL) for setting up of 7000 Cu. M Volume of Biogas.
